Amica Mutual Insurance Co., was founded in 1907 by Adolph Vigneron, who at the time was vice president of Associated Factory Mutual Fire Insurance Company.

Still a private, mutual company its headquarters are in Lincoln Rhode Island.

Their products now include auto insurance, life insurance, property and casualty.
